Are You dumped???

Clarion builders cheated their customer in legend apartments, sec 57, gurgaon.
For most of us, the thought of buying a home fires our imaginations with visions of comfort, an improved standard of living, and the opportunity to own that special, perfect home projecting our taste and lifestyle.
But the way to own your dream home is no bed of roses. The dream of  “home sweet home” turn out to be a nightmare for the customers of Legend Apartments by Clarion builders in sector 57, Gurgaon.

The company collected the first installment from its customers in 2005 and till to date has collected nearly 85% or more of the dues from most customers. Not even a single owner seems to have moved into the complex that appears not ready for living as construction is still going in most towers and apartments. Most customers are still waiting for the so called masterpiece Legend apartments in sector Sec 57, near the extended Golf Course Road by Clarion properties Ltd.

The clarion builder has cheated customers during the last 5 years. Actual apartments were different from what was shown in the sample flat. They quietly replaced Italian marble flooring in the drawing and dining room by tiles & thus saved at least 2 lakhs per apartment. and other cheaper bathroom fittings, installed cheaper electrical fittings (lights, fans etc).

Also, buyers have been slapped with additional electrical connection charges of up to 3 lakh rupees while the basic wiring is suppose to be included in the cost of the unit. Buyers also paid a additional registration charges costing several lakhs.

Currently lawsuit is pending in National Consumer Court against the clarion builders for ‘Legend apartments’ sector 57, Gurgaon

So, Guys what we can conclude after discerning such instances is that builders are using their customers as a ‘money machine’.

Now, as an end user what we can do as  huge amount of our money is at stake due to such builders?  Can we file FIR against the builder and drag them to court or we can write to Sonia Gandhi to make a regulator who can make sure that property is considered as a basic amenities just like food, clothing and prohibit such offence ?
